PICK OF THE FORTNIGHT
The Zium Exposition by The Zium Society
The latest entry in the Zium museum series brings us to a beautiful new gallery housed within a mountain, with an homage to the Tower of the Sun looming in the distance. The space and the art within, contributed by many artists is as stunning as usual.
OTHER PICKS THIS FORTNIGHT
From L to R, top to bottom: L.E.V.E., Chronicles of Taldun, Stage Management Simulator, {()[\/^^|\| |}0|}&3|*\ (Column Dodger), Do You Have a Moment to Talk About Our Lord and Savior?, Withdrawal
L.E.V.E. by shrunken studios: A sci-fi visual novel/arcade game about a scientist discovering a microscopic ecosystem.
Chronicles of Taldun: The Remainder (USD$27.99) by Nim & Ze: Note: I received a copy of this game for free. Learn from the deaths of those who have come before you in this visual novel filled with mystery and a gripping original setting.
Stage Management Simulator by Noa Segal: Call stage cues for the Shakespeare play The Tempest while following along with the in-game script and this YouTube video of a reading.
{()[\/^^|\| |}0|}&3|*\ (Column Dodger) by tipsheda: A delightfully trippy game that is exactly what it says on the tin.
Do You Have a Moment to Talk About Our Lord and Savior? (USD$3.99) by Worst Event Games: Note: I received a copy of this game for free. A horror game in which you are forced to play a card game to appease your captor. As far as card games go it exists more to serve the narrative of being in a futile situation rather than be mechanically meaningful, but the sense of dread that permeates the game is interesting.
Withdrawal by Skeletal_59: Stuff yourself with drugs to avoid withdrawal in this lo-fi game with a frenzied pace.
