PICK OF THE FORTNIGHT
Labyrinth of the Demon King (USD$19.99) by J. R. Hudepohl
A horror dungeon crawler set in feudal Japan teeming with demons. While probably not as 'weird' as some other games featured in this newsletter, the eerie and ‘cursed’ aesthetic has captured my imagination. I was sure for a while that I had hallucinated this game, but thankfully it is real.
OTHER PICKS THIS FORTNIGHT
From L to R, top to bottom: Overlook Trail, PLANT MALL, hideous solitaire, ASSCAR, The Two Rivers Hypothesis, traincyberdeliahaxx2025
Overlook Trail (USD$14.99) by Longhand Electric: Note: I received a copy of this game for free. A mix of genres set in various dreamscapes. If you're after something that keeps you guessing while also exuding a relaxing atmosphere, this is worth checking out.
PLANT MALL by CAM: Plant flowers in a wall while interacting with a cast of mysterious characters.
hideous solitaire by noodlefriend: A chaotic, hand-drawn version of Solitaire with bonus stickers!
ASSCAR by Various Artists: Live out your dreams as a racecar driver in this no-frills visual novel.
The Two Rivers Hypothesis by Grubwall: An ominous game that sees you traversing a flooded facility via a remote-controlled vehicle mounted with a camera. Eerie and atmospheric.
traincyberdeliahaxx2025 by Ash K and Girlpaw: Feel like you're hacking the mainframe with this intense and colourful simulator.
